A Wooden Praying Mantis

A bit of a dull day. Busy at work. Decided to take a photo of this ex tree, which suffered from a combination of the weight of snow and teenagers swinging on the branch. What has been left looks like a large praying mantis. The sort of thing that looks a bit spooky in the dark.

Decided on a different route for the after work bike ride. It was quite breezy, and the cycle legs haven't fully returned. Hopefully I'll get a bike ride on Friday. As it was overcast, it felt pretty dark when I got back to the house. Or it could be that I was quite a bit slower than the other days this week.
