Let us be

It’s the holidays. They come downstairs every morning and put the tv on. They leave both sofas empty and lay on the floor together, often one almost on top of the other. They snuggle up, they giggle, they chill. They remind me of seals basking on a beach.
I’ve always been quite anti screens and TV, I try to limit the amount they watch but this isn’t doing any harm and they’re happy here so I’ll let them watch a little longer.
