Huddersfield

When we first left University we went to work in Huddersfield. Our first two children were born in Huddersfield - so it has a lot of memories for us......and the most famous landmark - on the top of the hill in the centre is Huddersfield is this tower. I think it was to make the hill 1000m high! We often walked up to the tower - it was a well-known landmark. And so we bought this little model to remind us of the times we had walked up the hill to see the town laid out before us ... that is now 60 years ago!
