Weird

I blipped about my unresponsive kindle last week. Since then I found a video about how to replace the battery so I thought surely if I remove the battery and reconnect then it will reboot. So I took it apart and disconnected the battery and the screen is still showing this image even after 24 hours. I've no idea how the screen works but it must be something that requires power to change it including making it go blank! Weird. I've ordered a replacement battery so I'm hoping that sorts it out. Watch this space.
