And Then There Were Two ...

Yesterday was Scottish weather at its glummest - today could have passed for a rather chilly (10 degrees) June day. Brilliant sunshine, blue skies ....

We went out for our walk this morning, not trusting it to last beyond lunch. Just a little turn around the town - along the river to the old mill, up the steps and then the road that leads to the Castle Jail. Then down the Castlegate and High Street to find out how to order some flowers at the flower shop. And back to pick up the car at the Glebe. That's where I took the extra. Note the blue sky!
Apart from the satellite discs on the side of the tenements, I don't think the view will have changed much since the roof of the Abbey went during the Reformation ....

On the way down the Castlegate, I spotted a gorgeous tabby kitten peeking out through the blinds. By the time I got my phone lined up, its equally lovely sibling had popped out too ...

I'm feeling kitten-broody. I wonder if Douglas and Percy would like some company. I think they would probably object strongly :-((
