Sunset over Newhaven
What a nice spring day.
We headed out on the bikes to do the West Lothian Alps. I was a bit worried as my big toe had been bothering me. I got new bike shoes and set my bike up differently too. It worked. Rosemary had planned the route, but what I failed to realise was that she & Izzy were doing a challenge and it meant doing as much climbing as possible! There's a little area around Beescraigs which is pretty challenging. At the steepest hill when I was wiggling on the road, a driver decided to peep his horn at me..... my profanity was delivered in a way that would have made Vinny Jones blush. He got a special wave from Izzy too.
There's been a wee bit of a curveball with an athlete I coach, so a more focussed Sunday chat was needed. Then it was off to try out my new filters. It was a bit later than planned though and the light was failing. Rosemary came along as my assistant, but photography is something I'm only relaxed doing when I'm immersed in my own wee world. None of my 'filter' shots were that good and I deleted them all. This nice handheld one was all that was left.
