Bridge 49

We set off from Preston Bagot and walked down to bridge 49. Instead of continuing along the canal we crossed the bridge and followed a footpath. It crossed a field and then turned into a bridleway that skirted around a farmyard and onto a country roadway. We hoped to link up with the Monarch’s Way but decided we needed to study the map a bit more closely and do that on another occasion so we then headed back home. The dogs had a good walk, some parts they found plenty of sniffs and others they weren’t bothered with. The weather was fairly mild and no rain, so that was very good.
