+6°C and the snow is melting like mad. Some footpaths are made nearly impassable from slush. The first crocus leaves are already starting to show up in our courtyard - always first, these ones, growing on top of the communal heating pipe. (Easy to tell: it draws a straight line of green grass through the still-snow-covered lawn.)
