Heavenly Hellebores

A patient of mine, high up in the Royal Horticultural Society, came in today and presented me with a box containing a flower from every plant in his Hellebore collection, and challenged me to photograph them. There are 14 in all, and they are beautiful. So, this evening I floated them on water in a tupperware container, backlit them with a lamp, and got this, which I think shows off their variety well.
