First Batch down!
We picked a huge crop of red and green tomatoes today and I was determined to make sure we didn’t waste one of them. I’m trying out two recipes, one kindly sent to me by my Blip Buddy Wildwood in California and the other is a tried and true one apparantly from my friend Juls in Wentworth Falls. Honestly the first batch is absolutely delicious and I have set aside space in the store room under the stairs to store my stash of relishes. Having followed the sterilisation of the jars to the letter of the law, I’m hoping they will still be in good condition in a couple of years time as they are really well sealed.
