Gates at the dock

What a glorious day, beautiful sunshine. Went for a stroll along the waterfront at Custom House Quay after I did the weekly Tesco shop.
I day dream a lot, lost in my own wee world-quite happy. As I walked along the quay I imagined the people years and years ago who would pass through these gates at the quay side. Custom officers passing through these gates to board the ships at the dock checking for contraband. The hustle and the bustle of the dock jammed packed with ships and their overseas trade.
Went to see nana. Not improving greatly. Seen by a psych geriatrician, states there is early signs of dementia, but is concerned that there is something acute medically causing her hallucinations, agitation and distress. Waiting for results.
Out for dinner with my new work colleagues, nice, pleasant but not the same as the other gang, miss the gang.
