First Day of Spring

My Dad had what should have been routine surgery on Tuesday but suffered a rare and serious reaction to morphine which left him very poorly. Minor by comparison but I had the worst headache I've had in years yesterday - I guess just brought on with the tension. I couldn't decide whether to blip yesterday - in some ways it didn't seem right to do so but in other ways it felt like it might help. I'm so grateful for the messages people left. Today, Dad's hooked-up to various drips and pieces of equipment and may require more but different surgery tomorrow. But he smiled tonight and that gave me more hope than yesterday. And today, this first day of spring I'm now pleased to blip the blue sky of earlier today.
