Early walk.

Early supermarket.

Then early trip to the doctors, for my husband to get a blood test.

When he came out, he told me this rather disturbing story.

The man who did his blood test (he was English, but has lived here 22 years.)  Well, he said he'd rather lose his job than get the Covid vaccine.

I found this rather disturbing,  As the man has plenty of family in the UK, so must know what it's like over there.

Also, I don't think it's helpful for a health practitioner to be putting people off like this.

I must admit I was a bit sceptical about the vaccine, as it's been pushed out so fast.  But millions of people have now had it without any disastrous side effects.

Worryingly there were also quite a number of anti-vaxxer rallies yesterday.  I don't know why, after all they are not being forced to have the vaccine.

The problem maybe, that we've had very little covid here.  And no deaths at all in Queensland.

But without vaccines we would never have got rid of smallpox, diptheria, polio etc.  And reduced the number of other serious illnesses.
