Mum & Indie

are just like the Neighbourhood watch, they are only interested in the feathered kind however. Over the years that Mum & Indie have been together, they have formed a bond. Indie knows what Mum is going to do before she does it. Wonderful company & amusement for Mum. Twitching is one of their pastimes, Magpies in particular as Mum puts crumbs out for the birds but she's not keen on the Magpies coming in and eating it all. They've also been known to spot helicopters ... My challenge on this morning's  walk was avoiding recent deer scents, Indie was on high alert so the lead was needed. The forecast was dire but we actually got around without getting soaked.
Mum came back with me and we spent a jolly afternoon watching the horse racing .. Mum had 3 winners, I had 1, hubby had none. Better luck next time! Which could be tomorrow apparently. Time will tell.

Off to make dinner. A repeat of last night .. Easy peasy. :-)
