Grandpop’s crocus

These crocus came from my father-in-law’s garden many years ago and they are always welcome as an early herald of spring. Sadly they are tucked away in a corner by the compost bins! I should remember to transplant some for next year into a more prominent place.
It has been a bright sunny day, and had things been different I would have been gardening or out for a walk. But I did manage to step gingerly outside to take my photo. Progress!
