Granny’s ring

Gratitude Project Day 411.

Today I am grateful for heirloom jewellery and jewellers who know their thing. I picked up Granny’s ring today after having it cleaned and checked. He spoke about the beautiful old diamonds that were not perfectly round (because of the way they used to be cut) and the fact that one of the pearls had been replaced in the past.
