Sally Mair - Loving life

Sally's Shell

This is my lovely namesake hellebore. It does so well and is in flower for months. Today the first flowers opened. When I think what the weather was like until last week it amazing that it's come to this already.
I can't believe it's Friday again. I started the day as usual with the National Galleries of Scotland's Friday art quiz. You can find it on their Facebook page every week and it's great fun. 10 pictures to identify artists, techniques, dates etc every week. This will I scored 9 out of 10 so very happy with that! It's well worth a visit if you haven't found it yet, I'll put the link in the comments.
I spoke to both the girls today which is always good, both very happy to have reached the weekend. When I spoke to Kathryn she said she'd just sent both of the girls to play in the garden because it was home school break time!
I went for another walk today, 0.7 of a mile, not a long way but no discomfort so that's good and managing a rate of around 17.5 minutes per mile, again happy with that.
We had the monthly Edinburgh Cursillo meeting, 31 screens and 35 people so a good attendance. Nice to see friends without masks on.
We took the plunge today and updated the OS on Colin's iMac by two systems, happy to say successfully and so all is well but its always nerve-wracking.
Keep safe and well everybody, this vaccine roll out is remarkably reassuring, we still don't go any where but hopefully, soon!
