Spring!

We opted for an early start for our walk today. Time for toast before I left, but my morning cuppa came with me.

It rained a little but that was less noticeable once we were amongst trees. The paths were quiet and the birds were signing and we were quite content exploring our surroundings.

A stop for take out coffee and pastry, then home to find the kids still in their PJs.

C's plan for the day, or what was left of it, was to bake chocolate chip fat rascals to deliver to her friends later. Once they were out of the oven she headed off with a friend for her own exploration of the woods and parks.

She just about had enough energy for delivering goodies after that!

J and I had a walk through Northcliffe whilst she was out, the crocuses have just begun to flower there.
