Brrrrr!

After our usual shopping trip to McKees we set off to Donaghadee for take away coffee from the Stormy Cup which we took to the shore to drink. We then decided to go a little further and stop at the car park in Ballywalter to watch the waves - it was wet and very windy, we thought the waves would be good. As we sat in the car and the rain came down N. glanced to his right and there was this man just getting out of his car and stripping down to his swim shorts, with woolly hat and gloves. We watched as he set off for the beach, and in he went, made me shiver!! He must have been in the water for at least 10 minutes, we were a little concerned to be honest because he was on his own and it was very rough weather, we waited until he came out again before driving away. I love to swim, but I think I'm more of a fair weather swimmer!
