2245. All Manual February 19
What a busy day, I almost forgot to take a photo and only just remembered 10 minutes ago!
Met my youngest and a friend for coffee then had lunch with my youngest which was really nice. We calculated what sort of grades he needs to get to get the degree classification he’d like so he now knows what he needs to do to achieve this, which I’m sure he will. I can’t believe that he only has two more courses to complete and that’s him achieved his BSc (Hons) in IT and Computing...still a way to go but despite the challenges he’s doing really well and I’m so proud of him.
I ordered a new phone cover and it arrived today but it looked really flimsy so I’m sending it back tomorrow as it’s no better than the one I already have. It’s a shame as it looked really cool and looks like a retro 35mm camera on the back complete with dials and lens!
A quiet afternoon doing stuff around the house and preparing ourselves for the mammoth task of getting new HDMI cables into the wall behind the TV to replace the three old ones we currently have as we think that our Home Theatre sound is dropping off partially because of a faulty cable. When the original TV was wall mounted when we moved here in 2009, the company who supplied the TV installed it all but used really short HDMI cables so we had added a couple of extension cables to two of them. When we were getting the second TV we got, we managed to damage one of the joints and although it seemed to work ok for a while, we think that this is the one causing the issue with our Home Theatre system. Now that we have our most recent TV fitted we have been trying to sort out the sound issue with no luck, so finally decided to replace all of the HDMI cables as not only were they short but they look pretty cheap too. So, tomorrow’s morning activity will be the fun job of feeding the new cables down the wall and trying it all out again!
So today’s blip is a EB I’m afraid so it’s not that exciting!
