Today was concrete pouring day.  This may look daft, but the contractor was taking the required sample.
 
All finished by late morning.  Contractor leaves digger and dumper in road to be picked up.  Office forgets to take them off hire and someone complains that they are in the road.  Contractor sent back to put them in the compound late afternoon; he hasn’t been gone five minutes when the hire company turns up and takes them out again!  Fred Karno’s Army had nothing on it.
 
 
Good day myself and got quite a few plumbing jobs out of the way.  A nice piece of sirloin steak for tea tonight.
