Bee on a Bed of Crocuses

As soon as the temperatures rise the crocuses open their hearts to the bees. Today was sunny and 11 degrees and we have a series of similar days stretching into next week. The bees weren’t the only ones who were busy, our house and Preston are looking a lot cleaner now (extra). It took both the vet and his assistant to hold him down while they shaved his knotted fur, poor baby. He was not happy with his visit to the vet, yearly injections, anti tick liquid (yes, the ticks are out as well as the bees already) the 5 minute journey to get there and back. However an hour later it was as if nothing had happened, he went out and came in again, with plenty of twigs stuck to his nether regions!
