Winter Aconite
I found this winter aconite in a garden locally, although it is essentially a wild flower.
Upright stems carry three spreading leaves, each divided into three lobes, and the flowers appear above these leaves. It flowers between January and April, with yellow flowers comprising six yellow sepals.
I have seen this flower in the wild, but not too often, and was pleased to spot this locally.
