LD 332 A day in Parliament
Coming on for year after the start of various lockdowns and restrictions it is sometimes difficult to remember how things were.
But then a day in Parliament had to mean being physically in Edinburgh. Now, thanks to a lot of hard work by a lot of people, it can mean being able to appear in front of a committee in the morning, answer questions in a portfolio session in the afternoon , open and close a debate on the Citizen's Assembly and then vote, without ever leaving my study in Argyll , something also made much easier this week by a new EE 4G modem that has massively increased the speed and stability of my internet access.
I will be physically in the Parliament next week but working from home is now the new normal .
