Little Boxes

We have had our POB for twenty one years, and are debating whether we still need it. Like everyone, we get much less mail than we used to. That’s partly because we stopped running a business, but it’s mainly because most of our mail now comes online. Gone are the days when waiting for the postman (post person?) was exciting.

Still, a lot of letters have passed through our box. If you average it out at a notional fifteen per week, that’s 16,380 pieces of mail. The fact that I'm even thinking about it is also perhaps an illustration of how Covid and relative isolation can shrink your brain. I might start a series on that.
