This is Lely's Venus from the British Museum. I skipped work today to attend the first day of the Archaeology Live! conference, which is just around the corner from the BM.

Lely's Venus (the full statue can be found in my blip folio here) was a Roman copy of a Greek statue of Aphrodite. It was probably carved in the 2nd century BC by person or persons unknown. The reason it's called 'Lely's Venus' is because Sir Peter Lely nicked it after Charles I had his head removed.
