Aren't they just ducky......

Another adventure at work...  With all the ice and snow in Portland a customer had no loads going out for 2 days and because of that, their warehouse was full. Somebody in shipping and receiving didn't tell marketing and sales that or the other way around. When I showed up with a full trailer for them, they refused the load and rescheduled for next week. At the end of the day, I and the company I work for still gets paid the regular rates. The customer though will be paying twice the price now though as they have to send a second driver there next week... 

Early to bed tonight as I have a nice 500+ mile drive tomorrow. Hopefully I'll make it home but...
