Apples

Apple and blackcurrant crumble again for supper, so I thought decided It was time I blipped the apples. These are off our own tree, but we are now storing them in the shed. It is amazing how long last year’s apples are surviving - and we still have plenty in the shed. However there still a lot rotting away under the tree, and last week the little boy next door saw a rat in their kitchen. The parents called the local rat-catcher, who duly caught - and killed - the rat and he said the rat was as probably attracted by the rotting apples under our tree- and we should dispose of them as soon as possible - not an easy job!
