Partridge

Taken at some distance from the car a covey of 6 partridge pottered slowly down a track but not near enough really for any short of decent shot. I was checking this area out as there was a rumour of a barn owl in the vicinity. I didn't see it. 

An energetic hour on the bike and have now a very sore bum not having got back my levels of fitness which I've let slide dramatically. Hubs said that he thought I'd bitten off more than I could chew and he was right. 

I've felt rather odd all day and wondered if I've had a late reaction to the Covid vaccine ticking a few of the boxes for it's side effects. Who knows.
