American Kestrel

I drove to the refuge early this morning hoping to beat the rain, but the refuge was closed.  I then drove back to Vancouver and around to the other side of the lake.  It was 37 degrees (2.77 C) raining and still lots of snow everywhere.  I saw this kestrel and pulled to the side of the road and photographed it.  I will put a shot of a couple of Sand hill cranes in the Extra Photos, it shows there is still snow and how cold it was outside.  Thank you for your well wishes for husband, he did see the chiropractor today and hopefully will be on the mend soon.
