The probe guy

This fellow is Estonian native horse, who's trained for endurance races. Last Saturday he went to race, but 2 days later had high fever and didn't want anything to eat. He came to the clinic yesterday and stays at least until Monday. The vet made an endoscopy and saw that the gastric was full of food that didn't move on.
Today I got to put the probe in and we gave 4 L of pansalt-molasses-water mixture to him after every hour...until after the fifth time he had a lot of reflux and I took the probe out.
Tomorrow I'll be all day and all night in the clinic watching this guy and another horse, who gets 40-60 L fluids intravenously, because she has very profuse diarrhea.
