Sweetness and light

Bit of a mixed weather day today, but it was lovely for Tim's bike ride this morning, and again for my walk this afternoon.  The rain in the middle didn't bother us!

Spoke to my Mum while I was out, and was very pleased to hear she's feeling quite a lot better today.  Said goodbye to her and went to say hello to the Egyptian geese - looking resplendent in the spring-like sunshine :)

Exciting delivery from my sister and family today - our belated Christmas presents.  Opened the package this evening to discover a Teppanyaki grill, a Japanese cookbook, some beautiful chopsticks and bowls.  Can't wait to give them all a go!
