Crocus colours?

The tourist information in Saffron Walden have suggested I could make  them a crocus hat.  I've been trying to make silk crocuses/croci with little success, so they suggested purple crocus and saffron coloured... with dark green. 
I've tagged them on this on twitter to see if this is acceptable to them! It is Sudbury silk, but they may be upset that it is from Suffolk, not Essex
