change of scene

Having a few days staying mostly indoors we really needed a good walk. We felt excited and a bit guilty because we travelled all of 8 miles to Carsington Water for a much needed change of scene.  It worked,  we found a new route away from the waters edge which was good underfoot and pleasant. At the waters edge it was nice to watch birds we have not seen in weeks. In the blip I managed to capture the cormorant, lapwings and a couple of mallard all in one frame.
