Rewilding London?

An essential journey into central London for me today: I had an armful of blood tests at the Royal Marsden Hospital today ahead of my annual check up in just under a fortnight.

It was the first time I’ve been on a train in nearly a year and it felt very strange to be out of the local area.

I avoided the tube by taking to the streets and walking.

On the way back I took a less direct route but it was lovely to follow the river from Chelsea to Westminster.

London was spookily empty.

I stopped for a sandwich and a hot chocolate next to the London Eye (where we got married) and my only companion was this Egyptian goose!
