Half term treats

I was having a less than productive day at the desk this morning (when I say less than productive at the desk, what I actually mean is that I wasn't actually at the desk but on the sofa) when I got a message from TJC to see if I wanted to meet the tribe for a hill walk and a bacon butty. So thankful for flexi time this week meaning I can make up for lost time tomorrow.

It was worth it for a sunny / rainy / sleety / sunny / windy (repeat) walk around Haughmond, gazing at ponds and making creatures from tree stumps. And a bacon butty eaten gathered around the boot of a car (very 2021). Eden's cheeks are still exceptional and Ethan is very much rocking the chilled-out-hipster kinda vibe. It was the first time I've seen them in a very long time without their massive snowsuits on and it was good to see that there are very much babies under there. Delightful ones. CG is potty training and honestly, full respect for trying a number two in the potty in the back of a car. With parents who take a portaloo in a tent, I'm not entirely surprised.

Finally got round to pancakes for dinner. With a perfectly runny, gorgeously runny yolk on top. Yes please.
