Happy St. David's Day

March 1st- the first day of Spring and St. David's Day is celebrated by Welsh people everywhere.

I'm not Welsh, but I have lived here for sixty years. I moved to Cardiff just before I started secondary school. I found it quite difficult at first because I was teased about my London accent, I called my gym shoes 'plimsolls' instead of 'daps' and I had no idea what an Eisteddfod was!

The flag is reversed as the wind had blown it round the pole.
