The sweet smell of silage

Hot on the trail of St Gobnait this morning - she's reached Waterford - whilst Himself was out hunter gathering in a very quiet Bantry. Rain coming in again so we did the circuit major this afternoon - lots of interesting shapes but I liked these silage bales!! I love the smell too. The extra is for SeriousFrolic- not a mango swamp but the lilies starting to awaken on the pond. I quite like this immaculately made stone wall too.
And this week jensphotos has blipped her beautiful Aboriginal painting to match the one she gave us. It's a beauty. Thanks Ingeborg.

In other news we're watching White House Farm on Netflix. It's compelling mainly because it happened  in the next village from one where I grew up - Tolleshunt Darcy in Essex. We had left by then, 1985, but I can still remember the shock of the case - for the proximity, and for the sadness of those involved, especially the two little boys. Well made and still shocking. Interesting to be reminded what the 80s looked like too! When police drove Metros!
