So, it turns out that Benny South Street is essentially just a TV addict. He's moved on from watching the cricket or wildlife programmes and is now enthralled by Guess Who's Coming To Dinner?

Is it the power of Tracy's performance, the beauty of Poitier, the dewy eyes of Hepburn? Is it the great ensemble work of the cast? Maybe it's the crazy soundtrack to the film, maybe it's the message. We'll never know. All we know is, he watched it from the Japanese restaurant scene through to the end.
