I thought I might like a wee wander to get my first vaccine jag and the obvious way to get to the EICC was to walk up the Royal Mile, a bit of exercise is not to be sneezed at (maybe that’s not the best way of putting it). When I was getting to the top of the hill I realised that the emptiness of the streets was something I last saw way back in April last year when I used to venture out exploring. Unlike my travels last year which were done earlyish in the morning my trip up the Mile was at 4:45pm.

Needless to say I got up to the EICC a bit too early and so a wee wander over to the Lochrin Basin was in order. Hence the extra.

Got a dose of the Oxford vaccine in a most efficient and friendly way, was in and out in 10minutes. Well done the NHSS.

Walked over to Lothian Rd then Princes St. and home. Slightly puggled.
