Resting

It was clear by late evening yesterday that I had a vaccine reaction and took to the settee under my slanket with aching joints and a thick head.  I didn't sleep terribly well so I've rested up today and dosed with paracetamol, and I'm pleased to report that I'm on the mend, just feeling a bit washed out.

So what to do about a blip?  The rise in temperatures has meant that the take up of the feeders has dropped off in recent days but this fluffed up female blackbird has been resting up in a neighbour's bush for quite some time, enjoying the warmth of the afternoon sunshine and sheltering from the stiff breeze.  Plenty of buds appearing on that bush, Spring must be on its way!
