Scott and Dad

Dear Diary,

Yesterday I posted his pack and snowshoes, today his picture taken in 1996 a year after I bought my house.  He was a great outdoorsman, loved hunting and fishing and also gardening.  He excelled at skiing and enjoyed being out on the slopes.  He died on this day in 2005.  Dad died on this day as well, in 1998 so it is a double day of remembrance for me.  I've always loved this photo of Dad, in the extras, taken in the shop where he bought his first camera.  It is something we shared, a love of photography.
