Chasing Butterflies

J drove us to Opito Bay for the morning walk with Susie the dog.  There are so many beaches around here that are truly stunning - this was another one.  Long, golden sand beach, clear blue water, hardly a soul around though there's plenty of signs of life with all the holiday homes/baches and a few residents too.  Back to Luke's cafe for coffee where Susie made instant friends with almost everyone in the cafe!  Back to J's where I spent a thoroughly enjoyable few hours on the deck chasing butterflies.  I know chasing butterflies is a pointless or futile pursuit but in this case it was a fun, relaxing and challenging pleasure.  This is a common blue who sports a beautiful, shimmering underside.  Maybe I'll capture his topside blueness tomorrow?
