in need of snacks

There's a point at which slim and dainty just gives the message 'in need of more snacks'. This tree is doing well, but somehow, just needs to bulk up a bit. Its limbs are probably much stronger than they look. It has at least managed to stand up to the wind and maintain a good shape. It's fairly sheltered position in the town may account for that.

I was back walking along familiar streets today with a full day's work to complete. A generous number of snacks were needed to keep up the spirits and the energy levels.
