Duck?

Unfortunately cropped this to get it to fit.
I wondered why she was so concerned then noticed there was another duckling in the water.
So the duck was in a dilemma. Does she leave the ducklings on the bank to help the one in the water or sacrifice the one in the water.
I can only assume that they must have, all but one,
got out where the tow path was closer to the water and got left behind so swam while the others waddled.
I was surprised to see ducklings already hatched and swimming at this time of year Awww
