Joe Tree Day (Wednesday 17th February 2021)
Yet more scaffolding was going up at the Old Forge today, partly to fix a damp problem in the loft roof and partly to replace a thirty-year old polycarbonate conservatory/porch roof with something rather better.
It was a dull, dismal and wet day but I did venture out before nightfall to photograph a tree for Joe Tree Day, Joe Tree once being our beloved founder and leader at Blipfoto.
This line of trees is beside Keevil's Weir at the bottom of Berhill's Farm field, and is also for Cailleach's Wild Wednesday challenge. The Wide Wednesday theme for today is 'Bright Colours'. I think it is clear what part of the picture demonstrates the subject, and also the mallard pair braving the rain in the Extra also fit the bill.
With thanks to Cailleach and Steveng for hosting the challenges.

Richard & Linda Thompson - Georgie On A Spree (7" Version) (1979)
I've now reached CD7 in my Hard Luck Stories box set, and found this remake of a song originally from Hokey Pokey. It was released as a single to tie in with a TV series called Kiss The Girls And Make Them Cry (no, me neither), for which this was the theme tune.
