Coming from an education background & with teachers in the family, we have, for the past few years, gathered for holidays as an extended family around February half term. 

2015 - Paris ..... First train out of London, last train out of Paris - fabulous!
2016 - Barcelona, Sagrada Familia, Las Ramblas, Mercat de la Bocquero
2017 - Rome, Vatican City, Forum, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain & Catacombs
2018 - Bruges, home of chocolate, chips & fine beer
2019 - The delightful arrival of grandchildren gave opportunity for UK based holidays in the Peak District with climbs up Mam Tor & Mother Cap & strolls along Dovedales, Longshaw & visits to Eyam. 
2020 - Isle of Wight with sea views of Steephill Cove. Wet & windy seafront strolls, garlic farm & chocolate apothecary.
And this year it’s lockdown, stay at home, stay safe.
