Calf biters

The carnival association of Ulestraten is called the Kuutebieters (calf biters in dialect). Don't ask me why. Perhaps because the village is located on the edge of the Margraten plateau and it is quite a climb to get there from the Geul valley by bike, making your calfs hurt.
