Which Direction

Wednesday seems to be our day for a longer walk. Similar to last week we went up Old Pale and then around Delamere Forest. This photo was taken looking down from Old Pale in the direction of Runcorn and Fiddler's Ferry. the view wasn't as extensive today but you may just be able to make out the power station in the distance. Directly in front is the area of forest we walked around.

Lands End to John O'Groats 1000 Mile Virtual Challenge Update

Day 10 -  Cornwall. 9 miles walked. 52.9 miles completed. 

After walking around the Truro ring road I exited via country lanes, past Truro rugby club before rejoining the A390 and a stop at Mary's Pasties to stock up on virtual pasties for the day. There was no virtual danger on this section as there was a footpath. The route took a diversion through Probus and then rejoined the A390 through Grampound. Handily I once again finished next to a brewery, the Tremethick Brewery where I was able to virtually sample a selection of their beers to accompany the virtual pasties I had bought earlier.
