Make & Mend day
A "Make & Mend day in the Royal Navy and Royal Marines is traditionally a day when you are excused your normal duties to make and mend your clothing and equipment. It has now become to mean a day off .
So today I gave myself a Make&Mend to reframe and hang one of my photographs for Mrs M which she had commandeered after an exhibition it was in.
She had never liked the 40x50 exhibition sized frame it was in so today I reprinted it and framed it in a 40x40 square frame which I must admits suites it much better and it now hangs above her bed
The only trouble doing one job on the list, is you know full well it will be replaced by another!
You may notice some reflections on the glass from a wardrobe on the facing wall.
